Ifa (pronounced: E-fah) were teachers and often hulls that when asked, store large amount of a disciples aṣhẹ inside of them. They were often transported to the location of the individual upon request and would form from in thin air from aṣhẹ.
Overview[]
Before the ifa can be called, a prospective called has to master the oríkì (poem) of the creature/animal and recite it, committing themselves to their respective ifa. Once an oríkì is complete - a symbol representing the ifa called glows on the back of the hand of the disciple. At some point the back of their hands become tattooed with the symbol of the ifa (which appears on the skin and glows then fades when the ifa is called).
Physical Appearance
Their size varies, depending on the disciple's ashe reserve but are often depicted as large in stature, capable of battle and comprehension. The eyes of the ifa can also mirror the disciple to show complete synchronization. This was primarily displayed when the Eighth called his.
