The Masabai (pronounced MA-suh-Bye) was a species of humanoids that belonged to the Great Eight Races and inhabited an unknown planet.
History[]
The Third Ancestor of the most famous Masabaians who ever lived.
During the 2nd World Age, the Masabai were the first to “discover” aṣhẹ through contact with Karfe Stars, pyramid crafts that were infused with the energy. The Karfe Stars arrived on the Masabai home world and burrowed their lower halves into the ground for years. The pilots were never laid upon by any eyes and the ships never moved. For years the Masabai spread the knowledge of how to garner aṣhẹ to their brethren, this historically became known as the “Masabai Trail”. After years of growth and learning about the Karfe stars and the power they gave, the Karfe planted, powered up around the planet and took to the sky.
The Masabai took part in the tradition to gather around the Karfe, where it would “lift” one member of the onlooking crowd with the strongest aṣhẹ imprint into its hull to undertake a mysterious training that allowed the abductee mastery of their respective power. The Masabai, became known for their weaponry, craftsmanship, and later war tendencies. Even before the tragic destruction of the Great Star, the races loyal to the truce unanimously decided that the Masabai had violated the peace treaty because of the actions of the Eighth Ancestor.

Appearance[]
The Third Ancestor noted that the Masabai women look eerily similar to the yemoja because the Eighth Ancestor spliced their DNA and created them. Dāzā who is rumored to be of Masabai lineage is described as such:
"At the top of the rock formation stood their lieutenant, Dāzā, a deep green-skinned humanoid who looked spry despite his leading position. He was tall, imposing, with a face and ears that subsisted on being long. His aura demanded respect and his gaze instilled fear. A force to be reckoned with, a leader amongst his people. His eyes were dark and abysmally hopeless."
Upon seeing the Yemoja swim next to him in the ocean, Orula also described them as looking eerily similar to Masabai women.[1]

The Masabai are credited with creating the Sandha one many weapons.
Legacy[]
- The Masabai were noted to have been the first of the Great Eight races to "discover" ashe in its purest form from the Karfe Stars. [2]
- The Eighth Ancestor named his army the Masabai Shadow to serve as an extension of servants to the race.
